I tova shte mine - Stand Up Comedy Special

This Too Shall Pass - Stand Up Comedy Special

Three women. Three points of view. Zero pretense that we have the answers. Self-deprecation, a few truths and plenty of reasons to laugh at the things that usually send us into a panic.

Krasimira will discuss the things that will never fly in Bulgaria - the queues at KAT, the waiting at the ID card counter. She'll also daydream that the same thing that took out the dinosaurs 68 million years ago would take us too.

Olya Malinova will share what it's like to be a "failed mother", why it's okay to love money and who her favorite awakener from the Liberation is.

Elisaveta Belobradova will talk about open communication, personal boundaries and the madness we all have. Some - in larger doses than others.

Expect stories in which every woman will recognize herself, and every man will finally understand what is going on.

What’s behind this special? This is a new stand-up format by the comedy collective “3 Women on the Microphone” – a stage moniker that in recent years has been filling venues with bold, personally hard-won, and uncompromisingly funny stories. The name is a promise, and the material is brand new – written and tested specifically for the summer season, with a shifting rhythm and short solo sets that “pass the ball” without unnecessary posturing.

Who’s on stage

The core of the lineup was created by Elisaveta Belobradova, Krasimira Hadzhiivanova, and Olya Malinova – authors and producers of a number of hit comedy nights. Olya is also known for the one-woman show “Minister of Happiness,” where she turns the twists of her life into precise jokes. Krasimira is among the driving forces of women’s stand-up in Bulgaria – someone who knows how to turn domestic dramas into well-cooked punchlines. Elisaveta champions radically honest communication on stage – topics of boundaries, intimacy, and how not to tie ourselves in knots along the way. Joining them on certain dates is Galya Petkova – author of the solo set “Normal,” known for intelligently “prodding” taboos.

Context matters. Under the banner of “3 Women on the Microphone” the annual show One Night Stand was born – touring in recent editions on European stages, including Luxembourg and Stuttgart, with appearances beyond Bulgaria as well. It is this school that set the style: a fast pace, an observant eye for everyday absurdities, and zero tolerance for cliché. If you like stand-up without a “fourth wall,” you’ll feel right at home.

  • Expect dynamic takes on topics like bureaucracy, parenting, body image, and boundaries in relationships.
  • A combination of prepared material and live interaction with the audience – just enough to keep the adrenaline up without crossing the line of good taste.
  • Summer context: an open-air stage and festival energy in the heart of Sofia.

If you’re looking for more witty stories about couples, family secrets, and mirrors held up to ourselves, check out these titles on the bill: Perfect Strangers, The Neighbors Upstairs, Rachkov and the Women, Mirror, Mirror, I, the One Who Loves You, Do You Swear on the Kids, No Warranty and Sunday Morning.

“This Too Shall Pass” bets on something simple: when three different authors look at the same chaos from their own coordinates, laughter doesn’t fix the world, but it restores our sense that we’re in control of the situation – at least for one evening.
